Welcome to ‘Pimp My Mac,’ this is my first post
So to start things off, here’s a cool app which I found, called Clear Dock, which basically removes that gray stuff in the background. I like it a lot, pretty cool, and you can get it here.
Comment, and tell me what you think about it! Have an idea for the kind of app you’re looking for? email me at pleasepimpmymac@gmail.com, or write it in a comment!

Excellent App.
Been running it for over a year on Tiger (OSX 10.4)
Safe & Secure – No surprises here.
Unfortunately I’ve just upgraded to Leopard (10.5).
I hope they’ll bring out a version for that.
Well, I haven’t upgraded to Leopard yet, but it’s a completely different dock than the one in Tiger, so Clear Dock will need to completely remake the program for it to work on Leopard docks.
cleardock does a great job- the only thing is theres no new version with leopard compatibility.
it works in leopard, but it kills your widgets.
went to the apple store to copy the dock.app off a powerbook to fix mine =)
i hope theres a new version soon…
They should be cooking up something sometime soon.
Meanwhile, you can go to this site: http://www.dockulicious.com/
and look for docks you like, there are many clear ones available for download.
